Not so fun Monday......

Monday was not too fun for me. Sunday night my back started hurting all of a sudden around 9:30 and I knew it was not going to be good. Monday morning I woke up in constant pain. I knew I had a kidney stone so I called the Dr. but of course he wasn't in due to the day before being Christmas. Not sure of what I was able to do for the kidney stone or pain due to being pregnant, I called my dad. He tells me go to the E.R. UGH I do not want to go to the E.R. I text Mark and ask him what to do and he says to go so I buck up and take myself to the E.R. I was there almost all day (go figure) Once they took me back the drew some blood and did some tests to make sure I didn't have any sort of infection and gave me some pain meds thru an I.V. A little bit later the nurse came in to see how I was doing and asked how my pain was.. Still there.. So she gives me more meds for the pain and once again no relief. She ended up giving me pain meds 4 different times with the last time being a different type and finally getting some relief. So now with the pain bearable and them pumpi9ng me full of fluids, they wheel me off fo an ultrasound to check the kidneys and what do ya know- I have a kidney stone! The only good thing to come out of the whole experience is that they did an ultrasound of baby as well so I got to see that everything is going good. The guy doing the ultrasound says to me that he thinks it still a little too early to be sure but he thinks we are having a girl (don't tell mark...LOL) I chuckle to myself because I know how bad Mark wants a boy and can tease him more about having a girl. All in all it was not a fun day. However, it was a relief to see baby is doing good.

I have my first of many Dr appointments tomorrow. I am excited to have another ultrasound to see how baby is growing. I had one at 7 weeks with the specialist. There is just one and everything looked great! It was crazy to see the baby, it made it so much more real. We are super excited and can't wait for June to meet our little one!!

The last year has been crazy with visits to the Dr. for fertility testing. In May we decided to go see a specialist and he advised that I have an exploratory laparoscopy. I had the surgery in July and they found advanced endometriosis. In August and September we did artificial insemination and found out almost 4 weeks ago that I am pregnant. I am due in June and we couldn't be more excited. I have an ultrasound on Friday to check viability. They also had me to a blood test to check my HCG levels. The nurse from the specialist office told me that they were a little high. We will find out this week if we are having one baby or if it is twins. I am making a goal to blog more often to keep everyone updated.

I have not been good at posting lately. Not a lot has changed since my last post. I am still going to school... summer classes....I don't love them. I did block classes so they are only 7 weeks long but you get all the info you would in a full semester class. BUT on the plus side... I will be done with 2 of 3 classes the end of June so I will have the rest of my summer to have fun!! We recently went to a fertility specialist in search of some answers. He thinks I have endometriosis so he will be doing a laparoscopy in July to see if I do and then we will continue with the artificial insemination for about 4 months. We are keeping our fingers crossed and are trying to stay optimistic.

Over Due Post....

Wow it has been a long time since I last posted. Our holidays were great. We got to go to my parents for Thanksgiving again.. which was amazing. There was a lot of family there. We got family pictures done while we were there... which was way over due. Christmas we spent at home and was great as well. I of course got spoiled... like always. On Christmas eve I went to the Dr to do a post-coital test.... I will not explain but = not fun! The Dr. didn't like the results he got so I got to go back the Next Monday and he unfortunately got the same result. He then told me that he wants to do intra-uterin insemination. We start this adventure in February and are hopefull that we will receive the little one we have been longing for. I will post pictures soon...

Thanksgiving 2009

Mark and I had the chance to go visit my parents and little brother for Thanksgiving. It was so good to get away for the weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend. Friday we got up and drove to Silverton to do some shopping but there was nothing open so we went back to Durango to have lunch and shop a little. Saturday my mom had to work so we went with my dad to the Harley shop in town so my dad could day dream about getting a bike. Thanks mom and dad for letting us visit!

So I am finally posting pics from our trip to flaming gorge. We had tons of fun even though it was cold pretty much the whole time. The boys took SO much fishing equipment and only caught 2 yes 2 four inch fish the whole time we were there. I wish I had taken a picture of all of the gear they took for those 2 little fish. Everytime they cast they would say "I'm going to catch a big one, you watch". I think they would jinx themselves. It was fun to see the damn. Mark and I were going to take a tour but when we got to the damn and hiked up the hill from the dock they said all the tours for the day were full so we didn't get to do it. I was kinda bummed but oh well.

So I haven't been very good at taking pictures while we have been doing fun summer things like all of our camping and wheeler riding. We have been camping more this year than we have in the past 3 years combined and I love it! So far we haven't been to the same place twice. I enjoy seeing new country and sights! I will try to get better at taking pictures. Trips coming up: camping up Sheep Creek for the 24th and then Flaming Gorge in 2 weeks!! I promise I will post pictures when I get new ones! ( or I will just go to Diane's and use ones she has taken!!)

So Saturday is our 1 year anniversary! It is crazy how fast time flies! I LOVE LOVE LOVE being married and am so happy and in love with Mark. I don't think I could have found a better person to spend the rest of my life with. Happy Anniversary honey!!

We went to Moab last weekend with some friends and a bunch of people that Mark works with and we had a lot of fun. We got to take our new trailer and use it for the first time and really like it. We rode the Teryx pretty much all day everyday while we were there. We got to see a lot of really pretty country while we were riding. I took a lot of pictures but I haven't uploaded them onto the computer yet so I will post them as soon as I do.

So Mark and I have not been doing a whole lot since we got back from Mexico. Pretty much just working like crazy. We did get to go ride the Teryx with some friends about a month ago and that was fun. We are going to Moab for spring break with some friends to do some more riding. I will post pictures when we get back.

Mark is hunting is Canada this week and he is having so much fun! He went with a group of guys from work. There is 5 of them all together. They are getting more geese than I ever thought possible. Probalbly because my family didn't really ever hunt so this is all still kind of new to me! Monday they got 65, Tuesday they also got 65, and today they got 140!! That is incredible to me. He has sent me these photos on my phone. I will post more when he gets home!

Mark & I went a couple of weeks ago and rode some of the Piute Trails. It was so pretty there and we had so much fun!!
We went with a group of friends and we stayed in the TINY town named Marysvale. I really hope we get the chance to go again and that we can take some of our family there with us to enjoy it!

Mark and I are Newly weds so we don't have any kids..yet! We have 2 dogs. Both of us come from small families. Mark is an identical twin and He is the younger brother by I think 6 minutes. I am the middle child in my family. I have an older sister and a younger brother. We have one nephew named Braxton and he is 3 years old. He is Mark's brothers little boy and He is the cutest thing in the world! we love him to death!!
